ROADSIDE MOWING DURING A FIRE RESTRICTION
July 22 2024When the County of Paintearth issues a Fire Restriction this also means that the Roadside Mowing Program will be affected. The County recognizes that due to the high heat and dry conditions the possibility of starting a fire from our mowers is a big concern. Roadside mowing will now be running on reduced hours of operation. In an effort to minimize the fire hazard, our roadside mowers will not be mowing past 1:00 pm. This will remain in effect for as long as the fire restriction is in place.
