Gerard and Donna Fetaz, Proposed Land Use Bylaw Amendment - MOVED by Councillor Elliott to accept the presentation from Gerard and Donna Fetaz on their proposed Land Use Bylaw Amendment to 20. AF - Airport Fringe District as information.
RFD: Meal Allowance - MOVED by Councillor Hewitt the meal allowance be set at the following rates with or without receipts: Breakfast - $20.00, Lunch - $20.00 and Dinner - $30.00, effective January 1, 2019.
RFD: Water Rates - Rural Tank Loaders - MOVED by Councillor Glazier the water rates be set at $1.00 per 100 gallons for the rural tank loaders effective January 1, 2019.
RFD: Water Rates - MOVED by Councillor Hewitt the water rates be increased to $3.10 per cubic meter effective January 1, 2019.
RFD: Bylaw 656-17 Schedule “A” Compensation Rates for County Services - MOVED by Councillor Glazier to approve the following recommendations, effective January 1, 2019, as listed:
Administration & Finance: 2. Assessment Appeal: delete - Linear Property-power Generation - $650.00 per facility, Linear Property-other - $650.00 per LPAUID and Equalized Assessment - $650.00 as now handled by the Provincial Assessor, Alberta Municipal Affairs. 16. Tax Recovery: addition – all costs associated with tax recovery proceedings will be added to tax roll for all unpaid taxes.
Agricultural Service Board: 3. Vegetation Management: Industry spraying – increase from $50/hr to $135/hr plus the cost of the chemical per L applied at cost + GST.
Recreation: 2. Huber Dam – set rates as per Burma Park: $25.00 per night – power and $20.00 per night – no power
Water Services: 2. Water Services Fees – increase to $3.10 per cubic meter and 5. Hamilton & Veldt Tank Loaders – increase to $1.00 per 100 gallons.
RFD: Fleet Lane Closure - MOVED by Councillor Elliott to approve and complete the sale and transfer of title on Plan 933AJ – All of Lane south of Block C to Jeff Biberdorf to clean up the alignment of the new subdivision for $1,000.00.
Request - Valley Ski Hill - MOVED by Councillor Norton moved to appoint Councillor Wiart to the Valley Ski Hill Board.
RFD: Yield/Stop Signs - MOVED by Councillor Blumhagen the County install stop signs on Rge Rd 152 at the intersection of Twp Rd 382.
RFD: Street Light Request - Fleet - MOVED by Councillor Wiart the County move the light north of the hall and place it on the existing pole in front of the residence located at Fleet on 933A5 Block C Lot #6 at a cost of $500.00.
RFD: Lauderdale Community Association - MOVED by Councillor Blumhagen the County obtain and establish market value by way of an appraisal on the 2 acre parcel located on NE 32-38-14 W4 for review before offering the property as is for sale.
RFD: Interim 2019 Operating & Capital Budget Approval - MOVED by Councillor Glazier adoption of the proposed 2019 Interim Capital and Operating Budgets with Revenues and Expenditures of $13,390,605 as presented.
Friends of Coronation School - Playground Project - MOVED by Councillor Hewitt the County send a letter of support and that financial support will be considered during budget discussions at a later date.
Health & Wellness Account - MOVED by Councillor Glazier that Policy 415 Councillor Compensation and Expenses be revised for Councillors to receive the $750.00 Health and Wellness Spending Account as per the regulations provided to County employees, effective January 1, 2019.
Council Remuneration - MOVED by Councillor Norton an increase of $200.00 per month for Council Remuneration, effective January 1, 2019.
Non-Union Staff Salary Grid/Cost of Living Allowance - MOVED by Councillor Wiart that Non-Union staff receive a 1.75% Salary Grid Adjustment and 2% Cost of Living Allowance, effective January 1, 2019.
Sale of County Fire Truck to Town of Coronation - MOVED by Councillor Norton the County sells the 1998 Ford F700 Fire Pumper to the Town of Coronation for $26,000.00 plus GST.
