Paintearth Community Adult Learning Council - November Update

Our Fall/Winter learning season is wrapping up, but we still have plenty on the go! We have spots available for one-on-one sessions for help with computers, reading, writing, math, document use, and conversation. We also offer resume and cover letter help on a drop in basis. We are also an authorized exam site, for those taking online courses from a College or University.

Campus Alberta Central partnership with Red Deer College and Olds College offers great post-secondary credit programs that can be taken from the comfort of your own home using on-line or blended learning options.  Visit www.campusalbertacentral.com to learn more about the programs available for the winter.  Examples of courses available include: Rural Finance & Entrepreneurship, Agriculture & Heavy Equipment Technician, Educational Assistant, and Health Care Aide. Apply early to avoid disappointment.

Caregivers with children between the ages of 0 & 5 are invited to join us at one of three Magic Carpet Ride programs being offered weekly this fall.  Magic Carpet Ride currently takes place:

Tuesdays 10:00 am - Noon Paintearth Lodge - Castor
Wednesdays 9:15 am - 11:15 am Brownfield School
Wednesdays 9:30 am - 11:30 am Coronation Memorial Library

Our website www.paintearthlearning.ca has the Winter course information listed on it.
