Castor & District FCSS - March Update

Castor & District FCSS is offering help to file your taxes as long as you have a modest income and a Simple tax situation

In general, your tax situation is simple if you have no income or if your income comes from these sources:

  • employment
  • pension
  • benefits such as Canada Pension Plan, disability, employment insurance, social assistance
  • registered retirement savings plans (RRSP's)
  • support payments
  • scholarships, fellowships, bursaries or grants
  • interest (under $1,000)

Castor & District FCSS & Magnified Training Services  presents:

Babysitting workshop Saturday, May 11 9:00am - 4:00pm Ages 10/11+ **Please bring a lunch and snacks**
Home Alone workshop May 25 10:00am - 2:00pm Ages 8+ **Please bring a lunch and snacks**

Both workshops will be held at the Lighthouse Church across from the library on main st. 
Min of 6 attendees - Max of 18
Each workshop is $25/child with Castor & District subsidizing the remainder. You must be registered and paid in full for before the workshop (FCSS is NOT open on Fridays)

Castor & District FCSS program for “Parents with Little Ones”

Catherine Robinson from Stettler ParentLink will speak on Screen Time for little ones

Friday, March 15 10:00am Lighthouse Church

**a once a month get together for parent to hear a speaker, learn something new, ask questions, visit and socialize**
The kids (0-6yrs) can take part or play
Bring a friend or someone new to parenting. This event is FREE, however please register with Mandy so we know how many to expect.

County Council Meetings

All meetings are held at the County Administration Building commencing at 9:00am and are open to the pubic. Delegations are always welcome. To request a time allotment, please call the office of the CAO. All requests must clearly identify the reason or purpose of the appointment and follow the guidelines as per Section 20 - Delegations of the County's Procedure Bylaw 660-18.
