Paintearth Regional Waste Management
20 Years of Operation
2018 marks the 21st year of operations for Paintearth Regional Waste Management Ltd. Looking back over this period, it is evident that both past and present Board of Directors were committed to handling garbage in a better way. We have moved from garbage being landfilled to recycling. It’s still not perfect and a lot of recycled material is still being landfilled, but recycling continues to grow in the amount of materials being collected and recycled. The County of Paintearth, Towns of Castor and Coronation and the Village of Halkirk through a lot of hard work, some disappointments and some successes have been able to make it work. PRWML continues to operate without any tax support from the municipal owners. Thanks to all the residents of the area for continuing to keep more garbage out of landfills and hazardous materials disposed of properly.
