Strategic Plan
On February 2, 2021 members of the County of Paintearth’s Council and Administration reviewed and amended the County’s Strategic Plan as part of the annual process of policy and project reviews. With many objectives having been completed and also in light of Covid-19, the County has removed some items that would be out of scope given the current fiscal realities facing all municipalities.
Certain long-range infrastructure and financial planning studies were among those postponed until after the fall election. The current Council will focus on completing the remaining current objectives in the updated Strategic Plan.
The incoming Council will have the opportunity once again to participate in a two-day workshop to set a four-year plan for the County that reflects the current challenges, and expands the current opportunities.
