Emergency Management

Operation Deep Freeze

The November 9th regional debrief and exercise titled “Operation Deep Freeze” was recently held with over 65 attendees from a wide range of responsibilities in the Paintearth and east central Alberta region.

The materials from the exercise portion of the afternoon where the Oct 2 snowstorm was escalated into a multiple day event are now posted for review.

Our thanks to Murray Castle, emergency planning consultant for the County of Paintearth for compiling the afternoon’s break off sessions.

And also, thanks to all those who participated in the full day event, we had a great learning experience and look forward to Spring 2018 for continuing the discussion.
